What is meant by a steepening bond yield curve?
I thought you only made money off the interest in a bond. Are there other ways to make money off from Bonds?

Bond prices and interest rates have an inverse relationship. You can make money on bonds in two ways - interest and changes in price (assuming you don't hold to maturity). Steepening yield curve means increasing spread between short and long maturities, say between the 2yr and 10 yr bonds.
