Does what university you graduate from count for investment banking?

I don't have money for studying at Yale, Columbia or Harvard and I am interested in studying business administration at a cheaper, but less famous university in Nevada. I want to get then a job and have my MBA at one of this famous universities. Will I be able to find a job in investment banking after graduating from a cheap university and then go and have my MBA at Yale or Columbia Business School?

If you complete your MBA from Yale, Columbia or Harvard with excellent grades your under graduate degree won't matter. Getting accepted at one of those schools for their MBA program may be your big challenge.
