Hi so do you think the uranium mining companies in Australia would be a good long term investment? Considering that the stock prices are so low and the upside is huge surely?

In addition to the stock prices, you would want to check the financial condition of the company. Do they have a lot of debt compared to their cash on hand? How have they done compared to other uranium mining companies, how big are their mines?

I have 225K in equity on my current condo. I want to rent it out which would be a wash that includes mortgage, condo fee and taxes. How much equity can I take out to finance a second property? Will banks include rental as income?

so how many units do you have? or you own a single unit condo? and you can move in tenants sign a yearly contract with them and make them put down a deposit just incase they destroy the contract this deposit will be enough money to keep your house covered lets say for few months while you are looking for new tenants to move in that way your not losing any money but if they stay through your contract and they need to tell u ahead of time that they want to leave that way you have time to find a new tenant to move in right when the current tenant moves out and you can pull out your equity from the house and use it toward buying your next rental unit let me know if you have further questions you can email me ill answer it thank you sir hope i helped you if not my email is below thanks.

I work for a mid-size bank, but do my primary banking at a credit union. Our CEO recently alerted all employees that starting 10 / 1 that they will only do direct deposit to our own bank. If you do not change your direct deposit you will be mailed a paper check.

Can an employer (a bank) limit where you can send your direct deposit?

I've heard worse. Yes they can limit what bank you use.
Some companies will only let you put it in their debit card
And you have to pay to get cash out of it at an ATM

Is it true that if you use the capital from the sale of an investment property and put that towards another property that you will not be taxed on the capital gains via tax? How does this work exactly?
And can you use the capital gains toward any type of property such as a primary residence or a second home or does it have to be toward another investment property to avoid paying capital gains tax on those proceeds?

How much do you pay for your insurance? Car, life, property? Probably, a LOT. Yet so many people don;t have a clue what is covered and what is not.
Yes, I believe it is the agent's responsibility for the insured individual to know just what his policy covers and what it does not.

It is also the insured's responsibility to find out!

It would save a lot of grief when they file a claim and discover it is either not covered,. or there is a deducable which is higher than the cost of repair or replacement.

Finaid is a great site for more info and comparisons:

Please make sure you have exhausted all of your other options first, though since private loans do not have the advantages of federal loans. You probably qualify for at least a small amount of an Unsubsidized Stafford loan no matter what your income or EFC is, so get that first and then add on private loans to make up the difference.

Investment in government by a private person is done by buying bonds, Not only in city bonds but in state bonds and U.S. Bonds. The advantage in most cases is no income tax. The three levels borrow money with bonds and I have never had one default on me.

The New York Stock exchange is open from 9-4 (eastern time zone). If you are on the west coast you need to trade between 6 and 1.

There are other exchanges in different time zones but most are in NYSE and NASDAQ

Bond prices and interest rates have an inverse relationship. You can make money on bonds in two ways - interest and changes in price (assuming you don't hold to maturity). Steepening yield curve means increasing spread between short and long maturities, say between the 2yr and 10 yr bonds.

I have a friend who had a bad situation with an insurance company not cancelling their plan after selling their car, and continued to process payments. They were unable to pay back the bank and so the bank closed out their account. They have tried to open other bank accounts, and the banks will not allow an account to be open.

How does someone cash a paycheck, or a check in general, if they can't use a bank?

I just had a CT scan done they charged my insurance $ 542.00 and I owe nothing. I have awesome insurance. My insurance paid the entire amount. Now I also had an MRI done recently, but I have not got the EOB on that one yet. I'm sure they paid well on that too. I am guessing if you don't have ins. you would have to pay the MRI place the full amount.

a bonds rating is basically showing the risk of it actually being paid, if the bond has a lower rating there is a higher chance of it not being paid but should have a higher coupon rate. the higher the bond rating the better chance of it getting paid, so there will be a lower coupon rate.

Well it is not as much as we pay now for people going to the ER instead of the clinic bc they don't have health insurance. My taxes wont be as much as I pay out of pocket for bad health coverage. It wont even be as much as we loose now for the would be doctors that cant finish med school bc of the high cost. Govt. run health systems run more smoothly and provide free education to talented people so that we can get the best of the crop instead of just the ones that can afford med school.
