What does the balanced equation of the breaking of CCl4 bonds look like?
I need to know how to do this step so that i can calculate the average molar bond enthalpy of the carbon-chlorine bond in a CCl4 molecule. Any help would be great, thanks

CCl4 contains four C-Cl bonds . therefore the average molar enthalpy will be four times the enthalpy of decomposition of C-Cl bond.
