If i have broad form insurance while another party has average car insurance, would they be insured in my car?

The kind of insurance the guy has is irrelevant since insurance is for cars, not drivers.
What matters is - will your insurance cover a guest driver? That's what you need to check your policy or ask your insurance company about.
