Difference between Remington 700 long action stock and magnum stock?

What is the difference between Remington 700 long action stock and magnum stock? I have a Remington 700 30-06 that I am looking to buy a new stock and was wondering if it will fit in a magnum stock?

magnum stock takes more energy out of the shot ...magnum meaning more gun powder is in the round heavy grains... long action is for longer bolts so you don't hit yourself in the face changing rounds
