What are the main differences between lease and finance? and Ministère de l'économie et des finances

What are the main differences between lease and finance?

Can someone that is leasing a car or did before tell me how it works?
Do you end up paying more for the car in the long run then if you finance, do your monthly payments go down?
Is the insurance more expensive?
What are the cons and pros of leasing?
Better to lease or finance?
Thank you.

Lease means you rent a car and it is usually someone that likes having a new car all the time for a few years and then you give it back(on a lease many times the car co makes you have full insurance cov which can cost alot)..finance you are slowly paying for it and it makes more sense because cars are lasting longer with less maintenance. You always pay more if you finance instead of paying cash but when i bought my car i paid more then needed to try to pay it off faster which led to less interest
