What can I expect during an insurance home inspection?

My landlord is changing insurance agencies. The new insurance agency wants to come and inspect the property in which I reside. What should I expect during the inspection?

I currently do home inspections for insurance companies. It's really not that big of a deal. When we do an inspection we are mainly looking for anything that would be considered a hazard such as: vicious dogs, trip hazards, basically any dangers that could result in a liability claim.

Also we are looking for any repairs that needs to be done in order to prevent a physical claim.

Unless you own a vicious dog or if you are not properly taking care of the home the inspection will most likely not really effect you other then being there so that the inspector can see the inside of the house.

Image from the Organizing for America Health Care Reform tour in Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday August 27, 2009. While there were very few media folks present, getting about 700 Arizonans out on a very hot night to show support for change was a great demonstration of social action in the face of strident opponents. Remember, 83% of Americans want health care reform, yet the media is concentrating on the photo ops and sound bites of the militant conservatives.
