What exactly is the motive for Americans who are wealthy to put their money in Swiss bank accounts?

I do not understand, why not a bank account in the USA? Thank you.
I thought it was because interest rates were the highest there, thanks for informing me.

our felllow stupid amerikans think they will have more security in switzerland..like the economic crisis here will not reach overseas and they will always have their money but history repeats itself.. remember when the stock market crashed in 1929?what happened to all the money rich people had in their accounts????gone.. absolutely gone..Maybe they think they are thinking outside the box and that they will never lose anything..any possessions.. well guess what?nothing is secure!! they buy trade in their gold for cash, thinking that just because they might get gold at a high price now, that they will get the best value and thinking they are getting a good deal.. how stupid.. gold is worth more now ..but still.. did you know that all the gold in the world equals only 2 olympic-sized swimming pools? and maybe you are entitled to a certificate that says you bought gold..well guess, where all the moneys going?swiss bank accounts.. they have so much stored away..for what? for nothhing.. it's absolutely pointless ..

Bank of America security giving me the finger during the Iraq war protest

I started to take a photo of the Bank of America which had been closed because of the protest and they told me I wasn't allowed to.

I explained I was on a public sidewalk. One of them gestured to an imaginary
line which they said was the Bank of America's property. Even if that was the case, I was a few feet beyond it.

I started taking some photos and they certainly didn't represent the Bank of America in a very favorable way (ie. like complete assholes). And now these photos are tagged Bank of America and will come up in searches.

I then noticed that red paint had been thrown high up on the window. Still, pretty mild compared to some of the Vietnam era protests against B of A.
