As a freshman in college, will I learn useful information that will benefit me in the future if I do want to have a career in investment banking?

If you are a freshman an have an opportunity to do anything (well, almost anything) for pay at an investment bank, you should jump at the chance.
If you are not afraid of working very hard (long hours), this could be a great opportunity to start building your iBanking network.
fyi - there are some very well educated, very highly compensated executive assistants in the banks and hedge funds. Yes, well into the 6 figures.
