What degree do I need to become an Investment Banker?

I'm in my first year of college and I know I want to go into something interesting in the business world. Investment banking seems very interesting to me, from what I know about it. Could someone please let me know what type of degree or major I would need to become a successful investment banker? Also maybe even describe what an investment banker is a little more?? Thanks!!

Not so sure that you really need a specific degree or not, but I would guess that a degree in finance would be ideal. Ask your professors. But I do believe you will have to pass various exams. See the following website:
