Can a attorney obtain bank account records of the bank account is closed?

If I have had a bank account for 4 years and I close the account tomorrow can an attorney or car insurance agency that I have my legal battle with get access to my bank account and check my bank account records if the bank account is already closed?
Can they have access without MY permission??
That's all I want to know.
