What is the best bank to open an account with?

I'm opening a bank account tomorrow. Bank of America has been nothing but trouble. Please tell me what bank you guys use, or perhaps why you guys have certain preferences over others?

I've had an account with Wells Fargo since 2009. They were good but now i get a monthly service fee of $ 5 taken out every month
