What are some smart investment alternatives if one's AGI is too high for Roth Contributions?



Looking for a monthly investment alternative to an IRA. Stocks? Mutual Funds? Was thinking of starting a monthly savings plan for long term investing in stocks that have proven dividend track records. Any other tax deferred options?

What ever you would have felt comfortable with in a ROTH IRA would work fine outside a ROTH IRA.

Mutual Funds may be the best way for either.
