How to tell what bond a species is?
I know that shorter bond = strong bond. But how do we know which bond is stronger? It is like triple strongest, then double, then single? If so, how do I know if a specie is single, double, or triple?
Also, if a specie has a one single bond and one double bond, is it single or double?
What if a specie has two single bond and one double bond, is it single or double?

Triple bonds are incredibly strong and close bonds. A molecule is not described by any average bond, but rather each atomic-contact is described. Dihydrogen monoxide contains 2 single H-O bonds. It is described as having 2 single bonds, not a single bond molecule. I hope that makes sense. Telling the types of bonds by names is much easier in organic chemistry, because it's a great influence on the naming system. There are basic trends that involve common sense. Such as BF3. It has a spot for 4 bonds. Three will be taken up by Fluoride ions, leaving a free pair of electrons. Those electrons are also open for reaction, but for now there's only room for single bonds.
