How long do you pay on a loan to establish a good credit score?

This is my first loan.I want to pay it off as soon as possible. The loan is for 12 months.I can pay off in 2 months. Is this too soon to establish a good credit score?

Good credit takes about 4-5 YEARS to establish, assuming that you don't do anything dumb within that period. It is NOT something that you can achieve quickly. A huge part of your credit score is the LENGTH of your credit history.

Here is a cool geographic chart, courtesy of kiva.org, which shows where my micro-loans go.
