Do I need to file anything on my fed tax rtn for purchased stock?
My employer went public and offered its employees 100 shares of stock at a low purchase price. I opted to buy the stock at the low rate in 07. When I purchased the stock, I paid taxes on the gain since my purchase price was less than the current stock. I also paid other fees. Do I need to claim anything on my fed tax return? (I still have the stock and did not sell it.)
Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
