Can a bank accept a copy of a saving bonds instead of the original bond?

The relative who keeps giving me savings bonds only sends me the copy's since she refuses to give me the original. Will a bank be able to accept a copy of a bond or do i have to have the original bond?

LOL....They MUST have the original. What would keep someone from making a million copies of a $ 50 bonds and become rich if they took copies???
