Is there a fee when you transfer money from wells fargo to another bank institution?

I want to transfer money from my wells fargo to another bank (bank of the west). Is there a fee involved? Is there a list of banks that are free and some not? This is from a personal checking account

It might depend on how you transfer it. If you write a check to the other bank, there should not be a fee (unless you have a fee on all checks you write). If you have the other bank pull the money from your account via an ACH transfer I don't think there will be a fee. If you use Wells Fargo's Bill Pay to send the money, then there might be if there's usually a charge for paying a bill.

The Philadelphia Bank Building, at 421 Chestnut Street, was originally constructed 1857 along what was once known as Banker's Row. The original headquarters of the Philadelphia National Bank, has since been converted to residences and condos.
