Last week,

Customers at IndyMac Bank withdrew $ 100 million a day. It is the second largest failure of a US financial institution in history.

There was also a bank run at Bear Stearns in March:

Old Dominion Bank Building at 201 Prince Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property to the Alexandria Historic District, a National Historic Landmark.

From the city of Alexandria's website:
"The Classical Revival building was constructed for the Bank of the Old Dominion in 1852. After the occupation of Alexandria by the Union forces, the bank closed on May 10, 1862. The bank's cashier buried the assets of the bank until peace was declared, keeping the bank solvent during the war. From 1907-1925 Leadbeater & Sons used the building in addition to other nearby warehouses for their wholesale drug business. In 1925 the Free Methodist Church of North America used the building as their house of worship. Today it houses an art gallery, operated by the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association."

This shot looks awesome in sepia, but I chose color because of the peachy paint. With the sepia, it really looks as if the shot could have been taken 100 years ago.

Well, I uploaded the sepia.

Hello there.
