Do health insurance policies require you to sign a contract with them?
Can I just go a month with an insurance company and leave them? I ask this becasue I'm looking for an insurance company that would pay for my vasectomy.

You normally don't have to sign a contract. You may have to be with them for awhile before they pay for something like that. Usually you have a copay and deductible which you have to meet before they pay anything. It may actually be cheaper just to pay for it yourself. I am not sure what it cost to get a vasectomy. But once you pay the three or four hundred a month for the insurance and then the four or five hundred for the deductible. (some plans even have a higher deductible) it may be cheaper for you to pay for it.
