Why are Repugnicons using the recession to try and repeal a centuries worth of progress?
Repugs have gone after Social Security, medicare, medicaid, progressive taxation, EPA, and everything else that has made us not just a developed nation but the world's superpower.

good question, well asked. In truth, using the recession to further the right wing agenda is a matter of convenience--if it weren't the terrible financial mess that the repubes used, it would be the wars, or obama's illegitimate election. The republikkkans campaigned on "jobs jobs jobs", but so far they have introduced no legislation aimed at jobs, but instead have focused on what they created and left obama to handle--the soured economy.
