What is the difference between investment vehicles and securities?

Im learning about investing and I came across investment vehicles and securities. I've looked on google and it seems like they mean the same thing but I'm still unsure. Could someone clarify?

A security is a stock or bond of an individual company or government. "Investment vehicle" could refer to a number of things but the simplest example would be a mutual fund, which you can invest in and which would contain securities within the fund.
