What does an investment banker do and what kind of hours does the job require?
I'm interested in becoming an investment banker. I know the basics of the career, but I wanted to know what kind of hours and stress it involves. Is it a good field to go into right now with the economy? Also, any pros and cons that you can think of. Thanks!

They make investment decisions for the money people put in the bank. They help the bank make money.
But it's common for them to work 60 hours/week minimum, Probably more like 70-80.
You'll make good money, but won't have much time to enjoy it.
