Should the branch name used in a wire transfer to Bank of America be the city or the suburb name?
Its a wire transfer from a Bank of America account in New York to a Bank of America account in California.
I've checked with the bank already and they said either would be fine. Problem is whether I put the city or suburb could impact on how quickly it arrives and what fees are deducted plus I've been given bad information from them in the past so don't have much confidence in them. So I was hoping to get some feedback from someone who has done the exact same type of transfer before.

Call the bank and ask them exactly how the wire should be sent. Don't guess or your money could be tied up in the system.
