How much does car insurance cost per month?
Do you know how can I find out the cheapest car insurance without having to find an insurance broker? So far I got geico, progressive and all state quotes online but I find it expensive. I want prices from multiple insurers. Thanks.

yes well the only way to get a real time quote is to pick up the phone look in the yellow pages and dial up as many agents as you can stand. They will ask a variety of questions including zip code your social security number and while talking to you they will check your credit report and check with multiple insurers to see if the agent can find an insurance company willing to take a chance and what is the best rate. That is the only way to get multiple quotes I suggest also that you get a six month policy in the beginning because you pay higher rates if you have not had previous insurance. Your rate will come down after the first policy period and if you pick a six month policy you only pay higher rates for six months. Once you get a renewal notice and have kept your nose clean (no tickets no accidents) your rates should come down and with a renewal notice you are gold you can call almost any agent and try for a better quote.
If you have a family member who can add you to a policy you may be able to get a better rate depending on if you live in the USA or not. In Ny case I would stay away from those internet sites particularly the ones that promise multiple quites. It does not happen and your email and name address and phone number end up being compiled into a new mailing list for someone to try to sell. they will give you some excessively high quote hoping you go away and then they will sell your personal information to any company who wants to buy.. those sites are scams. best of luck
