Can you open a bank account if the bank closed the first one?
I banked with USAA and they closed my bank account due to issues of not having proper documentation for a claim that was filed. Will they let you open another account if its been years since the incident?

ask them. usually if you they close an account, it makes it hard to open another - at any bank.
