outstanding finance what will happen?
hi ive just found out my car that i bought about 8 months ago has outstanding finance on it that the previous keeper did not tell me about or he did not know himself what will happen now many thanks rick

this should not affect you, as the finance is the responsibility of the person who signed for it (ie. he got the finance to get the car, so he would of signed an agreement on how much to pay back, when and how long)
if you bought the car without the need of finance, he would of had to tell the finance company he was selling the car, and pay off the rest from what he sold it to you at.
if you bought it through finance, just double check with your finance company that what you are paying back does not include this guys bit he didnt pay back.
