How useful is a degree in Finance?

Hello!

I am a junior in college, majoring in finance and minoring in commercial Spanish.

I am starting to have doubts about actually wanting to work in the finance or banking industry after I graduate.

My question is, with a degree in finance, will I easily be able to get other jobs in business, especially international business?

I eventually want to start my own business, so will this degree be useful or should I change it?

About getting a job, you might not get it easily just because you have a degree in finance. If you have a degree in finance and are still so dumb (hypothetically, not that you're dumb), they'll just throw your files into trash can. But by studying finance, you learn in your college, what other majors will have to learn again in the job. So you have a head start.

In finance, you learn about financial management i believe? With that, you'll know better what to do with your money. When you know what to do with your money, your business is good (assuming there's no reccession again). You might want to learn about management too.

Hope it helps.
