Only Game shops, such as EB Games/Gamestop provide "insurance", which is basically money back guarantee or equal exchange if the disc is faulty. Usually you get 30 days to return the game as long as you have your receipt. But they also offer Scratch insurance for an extra $ 5. If your disc gets scratched no matter the cause they will provide you with a free replacement.
