How do I stop being charged renters insurance?
We moved out of our apartment in August without giving the office 60 days notice, and we still owe them rent. They continue to charge us $ 15 per month in renters insurance. Should we contact the apartment leasing office or the insurance company to discontinue this charge?

You normally cannot insure something if you have no potential for loss. If you signed a contract agreeing to a minimum notice prior to cancellation, you may still be liable.
You can try calling the insurance agent or company to cancel, but check your lease agreement or contract for more information.
Good luck!
