What's the difference between co-pay and co-insurance? and NJ - Newark: Firemen's Insurance Company Building

What's the difference between co-pay and co-insurance?

I received a doctor bill for co-insurance and called to ask why I owed more, since I had paid my co-pay at the time of the visit. The rep said that co-insurance and co-pay are different. Can anyone clearly explain to me what exactly co-insurance is, as opposed to co-pay?

co insurance means you are covered under your own insurance as primary, then covered under a spouse as a secondary insurance
your primary insurance might be an HMO or a PPO, that usually has a amount on your card that your primary insurance will not cover. Its now about $ 25 FOR an OV which means office visit. or $ 50 or $ 100 for ER which stands for emergency visit,

At the time of its completion, it was the tallest building in the State of New Jersey at sixteen-stories and 205-feet high. The facade is of Dover marble, and the rear is covered with enameled brick and terrazza finish.
