What is the point of having a bank holiday?
I read that the UK had a bank holiday today. What does closing the banks for one day a month actually acomplish? Why don't we have any in the USA?
England have 8 per year so its APPROXIMATELY once a month
someone doesn't understand approximations. 8 bank holidays with 12 months means that 75% of the time a month should have a bank holiday.

One of our local banks in St. Louis lets you bike through the drive up. At least this location does - never had a problem ... yet.
