Where is the "better" place to live? In Paris, France. "Right Bank" or "Left Bank"? Thanks!

Left Bank, try the area around the Sorbonne university. Rue de Ecole. It's close to everything, nice neighbourhood. Seems safe, my sister and I walk all around until after midnight without a problem. (But I couldn't find a bookstore that sold english books).
