Am I correct with my bond formation and breaking bond formulas?
When a bond is being formed, we use reaction-product,
which also is bond energies of bonds broken -bond
energies of bonds formed.
When a bond is being broken, we use product-reactant.
*I forgot to add in the summation sign

I think that you have that right.
bonds broken => reactants
bonds formed => products
∆H(reaction) = ∑∆H(products) - ∑∆H(reactants)
