What kinds of jobs can I get straight out of college with a finance major and what would it pay?

How competitive would getting a job be? Would a finance major be best if I want to be an investment banker or venture capitalist?

you have zero chance of being a VC right out of college

and unless you graduated top of your class at a big school, forget investment banking also

Finance majors usually work at banks or become stock brokers or stock analysts or sell financial products
