Is it legal for our group insurance company to mandate life insurance?

Our group health insurance provider is now saying we have to buy life insurance through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries. Is this legal in the State of Ohio?

If your employer offers a group insurance policy, you have to accept their choice if you want to participate. Otherwise, decline it.

Clock Sculptiure near the Nipponkoa Insurance Building in Bashamichi Yokohama. This architecture was built in 1922 as Bank of Kawasaki Yokohama Branch. In 1989, it was renovated as Nipponkoa Insurance Co., Ltd Bashamichi Building. The building features a stunning stone-and-glass façade, in line with the image of Yokohama, nicely combining the old and the new. The building houses offices, a clothes shop and a pub.
