How many milliliters of a stock solution?
1) How many milliliters of a stock solution of 10.0 M HNO3 would you have to use to prepare 0.340 L of 0.510 M HNO3?
2) If you dilute 24.0 mL of the stock solution to a final volume of 0.580 L, what will be the concentration of the diluted solution?

To find an answer use the relationship:
Molarity x volume of stock = Molarity x volume of diluted solution
10.0 M x volume = 0.510 M x 0.340 L. Solve for volume.
The second question...solve for molarity.,,,
10.0 M x 0.0240L = Molarity x 0.580 L

This represents a well-stocked bar; one of two we have in our home.
Uhm . . . we entertain often.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
