What is the difference between bank checks and checks printed by outside printers such as Walmart or online website not associated with banks?

Checks from an outside printer are available in a variety of colors and themes, and they usually cost more than those you get from your bank, but those are the only real differences. They all work the same way.

Households and firms react to money in opposite ways - households consume the money they get from firms and firms want money from households to invest.
Remember in circular flow, I comes in injections and S comes in leakages. And where is C ? C is the static component ( for the time being).
Now, more C is certainly more Y but an "incremental" I adds to that Y and that I comes from both firm's savings and household savings .... so people consuming more have less to make available for Investment.
Then for consumption - you have to consider long run and short run. In short run, consumption is independent of money demanded but in long run the money demanded during the traverse makes more Investments and more products are available and ( most important) more wages were distributed so naturally in the long run consumption depends upon money demanded.

What type of life insurance policy does the military offer?

I'm talking about the Army, in particular. Is it term life insurance, or permanent life insurance?
As of right now, my husband's job doesn't put him on the front lines. I already know how much life insurance the policy is for. I'm just trying to figure if I should get life insurance and for how much. Does anyone here know the difference between term and permanent life insurance? That's all I need to know. Is his life insure term or permanent.

SGLI, which is the Servicemembers Group Life Insurance. Each service member is given a certain amount for free, but you can purchase higher plans if you choose to do so. Talk with your admin section about it. And it's the same for all branches of service.

Were playing the stock market game in class and my group isn't doing to well. Were allowed to short sell a stock buty I'm not sure what that is.

In the stock market short selling is selling shares of stock you do not own. If you believe the price of a stock is going to go down, and you want to make a profit from that price change, you can sell a stock short.

Sometime after you sell a stock short you will have to close the position by buying the same number of shares that you sold. This is called "buying to close" or "buying to cover".

Just as with any other stock, you determine your profit or loss by subtracting the purchase price from the sale price.

There are a lot of aspects I will not cover in detail. One important one is that if you sell a stock short you have to pay any dividends instead of receiving them. You also have to keep enough assets in your account to be able to buy back the shares that you shorted even if the stock rises a certain amount. This is called a margin requirement.

What makes car ownership in Israel expensive?

I've read that owning a car in Israel is costly, due to "high taxation".
What does that mean?
Do you pay tax annually, based on certain criteria of your car?

Not really sure about high taxation..but gosh..everything in Israel is soooo expensive...I mean in shekels...it feels like alot more than dollars when you pay..I do know that in Israel...people have to pay to take driving lessons and get a driving certificate and then take the driving test etc....You cannot take a driving test and get a drivers license without taking the appropriate classes...all who desire to drive in Israel and get a driving license must take classes..Now, here's the problem...each class is very costly..there aren't alot of jobs that pay well. Hence, although people have a simple life....they do have trouble making good enough money to take a course..and go through all the process. second, driving in Israel is soooo dangerous...to me the law is not so strict when it comes to driving safety/road rules...people rely more on scooters/motorcycles/ bikes/ hitchhiking/ buses/ and walking. Lastly, the cars are very expensive...so not only do they have to break their back going through the process of getting a license but then purchasing a car and requires gas (also very costly)........I'm moving to Israel in approximately five years...ani ohevette ha eretz!!!! ( I Love the country).....though.
