what is the connection between computing/ICT and investment banking?
I sometimes hear on economics related TV programmes about people using their computing or ICT skills in making good investments on various things from the stock exchange to the mortgage market. BUT, I just don't understand how computing and economics related careers such as investment banking can somehow compliment each other ?
I always thought computing and ICT were subjects to do with programming computer, writing softwares and anything to do with technology.........but i just dont understand investment banking and economics related careers with it
