Yahoo Finance Scam, does yahoo finance broker transactions?

I am in the middle of purchasing a car from autotrader.com and the owner has set up the payment to be brokered by Yahoo finance acting as a trust to hold the money until the car is accepted by me. does yahoo finance perform this service? or am I being scammed??

IT IS A SCAM! I have been looking into this lately. I've seen the same scam, almost the same wording, using yahoo finance, paypal, ebay. DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Do some searching, you'll find the same scam done again and again.
