Which are the top 5 universities in Canada to become an investment banker?

Is the university of toronto one of them? Which are the top 5 schools in Canada that are recognized by investment banks hiring bankers?

Also, I have a bachelors of mathematics with a specialization in actuarial science. I am planning to get a masters in mathematics and then practice as an actuary. After a few years in the business world as an actuary, I would like to break into investment banking. Would I need an MBA or will my math masters suffice?

why become an actuary and then go into i-banking? First off, I-banking is awful. If you like working 120hrs/week then have fun, but its not as glamourous as it seems. Further, while there is a banking trend towards risk management and quantitative finance, they aren't necessarily looking for actuaries. First, I-banking is not risk management- I-banking involves the taking companies public and making deals- this involves math in financial modeling, but not risk management- that is covered by a separate department. Further, by the time you have a few years experience as an actuary you will be making more on an hourly basis than you would as an i-banker. If i-banking is for you, learn as much about finance as you can and have the quantitative background to back it up and go for it right away. If you want to be an actuary, be an actuary. The transition between them is tough, but then again its not impossible and if you have the drive to do it then you can accomplish it.

Clearance work at Dunville and Woodvale parks got underway last month and the £2m development at each park will take around a year to complete.
