What are the horizons with a degree in Finance In New York?
Are the job prospects good? I will be getting a bachelors with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics.

Obviously right now with the slow economy, prospects are less than they were a few years. Some finance people are losing their jobs. However, by the time you graduate, maybe things would have improved. Plus you are in the finance headquarters of the world so you will definitely find something.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Even in a bad economy, people who do extremely well in school will tend to get whatever jobs are available. So if I were you, I would do my best to keep my GPA as high as humanly possible.
