Is it possible to loan money through a pawnshop?

I know you can take out loans at a pawnshop, but can you loan your money through a pawn shop. I've looked at peer to peer lending sites, but I am more trusting of places with a brick and mortar address.

No; they don't work that way. Have you heard of banks, S&Ls, credit unions, savings bonds, etc.?

Don't despair if our network doesn't own the book you need. If there's a library in the U.S. willing to lend it, we can probably borrow it for you. Contact our Interlibrary Loan librarians.
