What is the basic thing i have to know to study investment?
I want to study investment but i have no clue! it will be great if you could tell the basic of investment to know what is what when i take my first class next week!

Investing involves studying various type investments such as stocks, bonds, real estate, etc. A course probably would explain the nature of stocks; i.e. an ownership or equity in a business, how stocks are traded on the stock market and a lot of measurements of quality such as dividend rate, earnings per share and a lot of other such items.
