Can you sue a bank for harassment and freezing your bank account?
Can you sue a bank for harassment and freezing your bank account? I have been banking with this bank for 20 years now. And I owe them nothing. I am in some legal trouble with another bank that has nothing to do with them. Does anyone have any advice? I don't see how they can freeze my account when I owe them nothing.

The question is WHY they froze your account. If it was pursuant to a valid court order or some rule that your account is subject to, then you don't have any legal recourse.
If they simply froze it because they don't like your dispute with the other bank, then you might have an action for damages. Either way, there's no harassment here under these facts.
